Programmes - Uniform

Uniform is compulsory for students from Years 7 to 11.  No jewellery is permitted other than a single discrete stud or sleeper in one or both ears.

Uniform is available for purchase from Apparel Studio, 11 Frederick Street (off Ballantyne Road), telephone number 443 1882.  The opening hours are 9.30 am to 5.30 pm, Monday to Friday and EFTPOS available.

Second hand uniform is occasionally advertised through the college newsletter.  Items of donated uniform may also be availableor may be available from Wanaka Primary School Op Shop, open Tues/Thurs 12:00 - 4:00pm.

 

Winter Uniform (To be worn form April to October))

Girls

Napier tartan kilt or navy blue dress trousers.

White long or short sleeved polo shirt with navy stripe on collar and MAC logo (white skivvy or plain white T-shirt underneath, optional).

Blue uniform V‑necked pullover or MAC polar fleece jacket.

Plain black lace-up shoes.  No coloured laces, stripes, logos, etc allowed.

Plain white knee socks or navy blue tights.

 

Boys

Grey drill shorts or navy blue dress trousers.

Grey long or short sleeved polo shirt with navy stripe on collar and MAC logo (grey skivvy or plain grey T-shirt underneath, optional)

Blue uniform V‑necked pullover or MAC polar fleece jacket.

Grey uniform socks (blue and white bands).

Plain black lace-up shoes. No coloured laces, stripes, logos, etc allowed.

 

Summer Uniform (Terms 1 and 4)

Two Mount Aspiring College Students

 

Girls

White short-sleeved polo shirt with navy stripe on collar and MAC logo.

Navy culottes.

Blue uniform V‑neck Pulloveror MAC polar fleecer.

Plain black lace-up shoes (worn with plain white ankle socks) or plain black Roman sandals (worn without socks – no backless sandals).

 

Boys

Grey drill shorts.

Short-sleeved grey polo shirt with navy stripe on collar and MAC logo.

Blue uniform V-neck pullover or MAC polar fleece.

Plain black lace-up shoes (worn with grey socks as for winter) or plain black Roman sandals (worn without socks – no backless sandals).

Jacket

College polar fleece jacket – navy blue with gold collar. 

Wanaka Primary polar fleeces may be worn by students transferring to Year 7.

In inclement weather a rain jacket or other warm jacket and beanie may be worn to and from school, but must be removed inside.

 

Sun Hats

Students may wear sunhatsor baseball caps whilst outdoors only in summer.  Hats must not have any offensive or inappropriate logos.  Hats must be removed when inside.

 

PE Uniform

Short-sleeve polo shirt in house colours:

Barker (Green), Iron (Red), Pisa (Gold), Roy (Blue).

Plain black shorts and/or navy MAC track pants.

Gym shoes - non-marking soles.

 

Sports Uniform

As per prescribed code.

College sports tracksuits and yellow sports shirts are available to loan for college sports events.

 

Dress Code for Senior Students

 

Students in Year 12 and 13 are not required to wear a uniform - however they must wear acceptable clothing which is clean, tidy and practical. Visible facial jewellery is not permitted. Hats should be removed if requested by teachers.
